- Portland cement. It is made on the basis of clinker minerals. The amount of this component in new slate is from 75 to 90%.
- Chrysotile fibers. Chrysotile is a type of the natural mineral serpentine. Increases fire resistance, strength and durability of slate products. The composition of slate includes 10-15% chrysotile.
- Water. No more than 5% water is added to chrysotile cement products.
Chrysotile cement roofing material is produced using new high-precision equipment that ensures perfectly smooth edges and precise geometric dimensions. Each batch is subject to strict quality control and only after that goes on sale.

Types of slate from BF Tech
BF Tech produces wave slate, flat chrysotile cement sheets, chrysotile cement pipes and couplings. Some options are used not only for covering roofs, but also for other buildings.
Flat pressed
Flat pressed slate BF Tech is chrysotile cement sheets with a smooth surface. The main feature of this material is the use of a press in its production.Like the rest of the company’s products, the pressed variety is manufactured on modern equipment in compliance with technological standards and regulations.
Pressed slate has low porosity, which increases its strength and density. Paint adheres well to flat sheets with a smooth surface, which allows you to change the shade of the structure at will.
BF Tech flat sheets are used for installation of pitched roofing. However, this is not the only way to use them.
Methods of using flat pressed slate:
- as permanent formwork;
- for finishing internal and external walls of buildings;
- to protect walls from moisture and increase the fire safety of the building;
- as a component of sandwich panels;
- for arranging window openings and door slopes;
- construction of fences;
- equipment for temporary utility buildings;
- in the interior for wall cladding in offices or shopping centers
- landscaping of the site - fencing for beds, flower beds.
The width and length of one slate sheet, which is produced in accordance with GOST 18124-2012 m, is 3000 mm in length, 1200 and 1500 mm in width. The thickness is 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 25, 30 mm.
Flat unpressed
Flat unpressed slate BF Tech is sheets without bends with a smooth surface. In the production of such products, the pressing method is not used. Despite this, the material turns out to be quite durable and dense.
Unpressed slate sheets have low thermal and electrical conductivity. The material is durable, easy to install and repair.
Slate sheets have found application not only in roofing construction. BF Tech flat products are also used for:
- permanent formwork equipment;
- cladding walls and building facades;
- assemblies of ventilated facades;
- fencing for garden beds and fences;
- construction of temporary utility structures;
- landscaping of the site - fencing for beds, flower beds.
BF Tech unpressed flat slate is manufactured in accordance with government regulations and standards. The manufacturer produces sheets in sizes:
- 1500 by 1000 mm, with a thickness of 6-12 mm;
- 1500 by 1200 mm, with a thickness of 6-10 mm;
- 1750 by 1200 mm, with a thickness of 6-10 mm;
- 1750 by 1000 mm, with a thickness of 6-8mm;
- 2000 by 1500 mm, with a thickness of 8-10mm;
- 3000 by 1200 mm, with a thickness of 6-12 mm;
- 3000 by 1500 mm, with a thickness of 6-12 mm.
On order, the company produces three-meter sheets with a thickness of 16-30 mm.
Seven-wave
BF Tech seven-wave slate is chrysotile cement sheets that include 7 wave-shaped elements. This is a roofing material familiar to everyone with an improved composition. It is used for arranging roofs of residential and non-residential buildings.
Slate corrugated sheets are suitable for arranging any roofs with a slope of 12 degrees. This material is durable, fireproof, and resistant to negative external factors. For an overlap when installing a roof covering, only one wave is enough. If one of the parts breaks, it is easy to replace the damaged element without disassembling the entire structure.
The cost of seven-wave slate is lower than eight-wave slate. However, more such sheets will be needed to cover the roof. The appropriate option is selected based on the dimensions of the structure.
The width of the seven-wave sheet is 980 mm, the depth of the wave is 40 mm. Steps between waves are 150 mm. BF Tech produces wave slate with a thickness of 5.2 and 5.8 mm.
Eight wave
Eight-wave slate also belongs to traditional roofing materials. It has been used in our country for over 100 years. It remains a popular roofing material today.The advanced technology and variety of colors of BF Tech products allows you to create buildings with a fashionable exterior.
Eight-wave slate is suitable for installing insulated and cold roofs. Thanks to the larger number of waves, fewer sheets will be needed to install the roof than when using a seven-wave type.
The width of eight-wave BF Tech slate is 1130 mm. The remaining indicators remain unchanged - depth 40 mm and pitch 150 mm. There are 2 options for the thickness of slate sheets - 5.2 and 5.8 mm.
The weight of the sheets and the cost depend on their thickness. However, even thinner slate remains durable and wear-resistant. Other material parameters also remain unchanged.
About color
Slate roofs in a basic gray color do not stain, but many home owners want to add color to the roofs of their buildings.
New technologies used in the production of BF Tech slate make it possible to produce sheets in different shades.
Modern BF Tech slate is available in several colors:
- red;
- green;
- brown;
- blue;
- orange;
- grey.
This variety of colors allows you to design roofs that will match the design of the building and attract attention. It is not necessary to use sheets of the same color. You can alternate rows of different shades.
Slate is painted over the surface with an additional protective layer that protects the paint from fading and damage. They use the five most popular colors that suit almost all facades. For painting, use acrylic dye that is resistant to abrasion and fading in the sun.
Years later, if you want to update or change the color of your roof, you can simply clean it.
BF Tech slate is easy to paint.If the company's color palette does not have the desired shade, then you can paint the gray sheets yourself.
BF Tech slate is a modern roofing material with a traditional appearance, but an improved composition. If slate sheets of the old generation lost their visual appeal after an average of 15 years, then products with updated production technology do not lose their aesthetic appearance and do not deteriorate for more than half a century.
Improved slate will be an excellent solution for any exterior and will be able to compete with more expensive roofing materials.
The BF Tech company lives up to the trust of its customers and produces only high-quality products. The use of modern equipment for production allows us to achieve precise geometric dimensions and symmetrical edges.
