This is quite enough to wash the clothes of 2 adults and 1 child. The machine takes up space instead of one cabinet for pots. We put them in the closet in the hallway.
In our rented apartment we also have a built-in washing machine, made by LG, with a capacity of 5 kg. It is located in the kitchen and takes up very little space, since it was placed under the kitchen unit, simply removing unnecessary drawers. It is so convenient, the space is free, the machine runs silently. The most interesting thing is that it looks harmonious. I think when we return from a business trip, we will do the same in our apartment.
I don’t share this love for the built-in washing machine in the kitchen. It's not very pretty. People eat here and immediately load up their dirty laundry. And I would also argue about convenience. If, God forbid, water starts leaking from under the car, it will not be so easy to crawl up to it and fix the leak. Not to mention wiping up all the spilled water. Well, there is also a limited selection of such cars.In my opinion, the machine looks much more aesthetically pleasing in the bathroom, and it’s in its right place.
Not everyone has big apartments. Often people install built-in appliances because there is simply no other choice.
Personally, we have a built-in hotpoint machine AWM 1297. It’s very compact, since there’s only so much space in the kitchen, and there’s already a lot of stuff in the bathroom. 16 programs and 7 kg of load, what more do you need?
I can tell you what else is needed if the washing machine is in the bathroom. A good forced exhaust hood must be installed so that a lot of steam does not form in the bathroom when you bathe or take a shower.
This type of equipment does not like high humidity, as this causes the contacts to oxidize and the control board may become damp, then repairs will cost a pretty penny, as they say.
I also recommend making additional ventilation holes in the doors to ensure normal air circulation when the bath is closed and no one is in it. In this case, the bathroom can be considered a normal place for a washing machine :)
